Description

This informational video intertwines math and dance to describe how three different areas of mathematics study a circle. While the concept of a circle is considered to be simple and straight-forward, it can actually get quite complicated. For instance, algebra, geometry, and topology are three different areas of mathematics that study circles in their own unique ways. This video highlights the fundamental differences between these areas of math and how many perceptions of a circle exist.
