Description

This image was captured using immunocytochemistry and laser scanning confocal microscopy that captured a slice of mouse cerebellum fluorescently stained with three different probes highlighting Purkinje cells (green), mylenated axons (red), astrocytes (white) and nuclei (blue).

The cerebellum is located at the base of the skull and is the area of the brain responsible for all motor movement in a vertebrate organism.
