Description

In the Hawker and Read groups, we use visible light to create polymer patterns on surfaces. Shown here is an optical micrograph of a patterned array of polymers grown on a silicon surface. Dark regions represent silicon, whereas the bright green regions are polymers chemically bound to the surface.
