Description

Organic Noise is an algorithmic visualization which was created by an algorithm which successively layers following loose constraints guided by the input of random noise; as the process follows how all natural systems work, the piece looks natural itself.

Organic Noise mimics natural processes which exhibit order as well as unpredictability. These polarizing attributes express themselves in all things - for example, suppose two sibling trees are planted in the same spot, and receive the same amount of sun, water, and nutrients over the years. The trees will grow to have a similar height, width, and health over the years. However, they will each have their own unique branch configurations. Similarly, all events in nature, while they expressing order, will exhibit infinite random variation.
