Art of Science 2020-And the winners are

March 12, 2020

For the seventh year in a row, the Art of Science competition is excited to unveil this year’s winners. We celebrate all 42 entries that share remarkable visual stories of creativity and discovery at UCSB.

This year, we are excited to announce our 10 winning entries that include 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, "People's Choice", "Best Caption", and 5 honorable mentions awarded to postdocs, graduate students and undergraduates across disciplines. Our ten winning entries will become part of the 2020 Art of Science exhibits at the MOXI (Spring 2020), UCSB Library (Summer 2020), and other venues.

Thank you again to each and every researcher who submitted an entry. Your pieces make up an inspiring and diverse array of images for all to enjoy. And thank you to all the community and jury members who voted to select our top ten winning pieces.
