DNA carries all the information to make up an entire organism, such as you and l. However, mutations in the DNA could lead to disease, abnormities, or lethal to an organism. Here, we generated thousands of mutations in C. elegans and computationally analyzed their effect and correlation.

Thousands of mutations were evaluated based on their allele frequency (Y axis) and genomic position (X axis). Each dot on the graph represents a unique mutation, and lines indicate a genetic linkage between them on one chromosome. Through this work, we illustrate the concept of genetic linkage using modern instruments and analysis techniques.
