This series is meant to be a representation of abstract thoughts and our lack of research imposed on pregnancy and the human body. The viewer should care more on how the series connects or confuses their perception.

Neena Jolie is a fourth year undergraduate from Los Angeles pursuing a career in Art therapy and Psychology Research. Her work embodies elements of abstract identity, memory, and storytelling using recycled and otherwise resourceful materials. Her main topic of research focuses on Sexual Health and Reproductive Biology through her explorations of symbolic imagery and feminist philosophy. Neena has just recently exhibited her work at UCSB's Glassbox Gallery, Originalia: Reproductive Biology & Art in 2024.
